Board Members


Mr. Akinwande was born on the 28th of November, 1941 at Uguru, Yobe State. he attended Yaba College of Technology from 1956 to 1960. He also attended Harrow College Harrow Middlesex and South West London College UK. He worked as a bank officer at Baclays bank London from 1964-1970, and as an Auditor with UNILEVER Plc Backfriars London. He joined UAC of Nigeria Plc as Senior Auditor in 1971 moving to Lever Brothers Nigeria Plc as deputy chief accountant from 1976-1978.He joined International Breweries Plc Ilesa as General Manager from 1978-1981 and became Managing Director 1981 and Chairman 1998-2004. He has served on the board as a Non-excutive Director of the following companies and agencies; Lead Merchant Bank Plc 1990-1996 & 2001-2005, Nigeria Re-Insurance Corporation 1993-1994, Odua Investment Co. Ltd 1997-1999, he was also Vice Chairman of Manufacturers Association of old Ondo, Ogun, Oyo & Kwara State from 1979-1989, a member Oyo State Economic Advasory Council from 1984-1989, Chairman Industrial policy 1990, Chairman Osun State Investment Corporation 1995-1997 and Chairman District Society of the institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria from 1993-1995. He is currently serving on the board of ALUMACO Nigeria Plc as Director from 1998 and is a Member of Trustees UNDP-OSSDH Fund Osun State.
Mr. Akinwande is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and that of Certified Accountant, united Kindom. He is currently the Chairman/CEO of Akin Akinola & associates Limited and also is the Chairman/CEO of Supreme Oil industries Limited


Mr. Adeniran is a 1988 graduate of Business Administration from The Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, He Started his career with Wintrust limited in 1989 as an Investment Executive and rose to the position of General Manager, and he joined the services of Investment and Capital Development Company in 1991 where he set up the Stock broking department. In December 1994 he joined the services of Anchoria Investment & Securities ltd as the General Manager where he also set up the Firm as a Stock broking Firm; in 1997 he joined the services of Sanbros Trust & Securities Ltd as a General Manager from where he rose to the board as the Executive Director Investment Banking. He left the services of Sanbros to set up Readings Investment Ltd in December 2003. Mr. Adeniran is an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, an Associate of both the Nigerian Institute of Management and Chartered Institute of Marketing and also holds an MBA. He has an in-depth knowledge of the Nigerian Capital Market.


Kanmi Osobu attended the University of Ilorin from where he graduated with Second Class upper division in Business Administration in 1987. He is a Fellow of the Institute Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He started his working careeer with the firm of I D Gbotosho & Co. a firm of Chartered Accountants in 1989 after the National Youth Service Corps. He joined the services of Lead Bank in 1993 as a banking officer. While in Lead Bank he worked in various departments including audit, International Operations, Corporate Banking & Treasury. He resigned from Lead Bank in August 2002 as the Treasurer of the Bank to join Bond Bank PLC. He was the pioneer Regional Manager for Abuja at Bond Bank; he later transferred to the head office to head the bank’s Product & Markets Division. He resigned from Bond Bank as a Deputy General Manager in January 2006. Kanmi has attended various professional training on funds and asset Management both in Nigeria and abroad.


Aliyu graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria with several academic distinctions. Aliyu worked with the international accounting firms of Arthur Andersen & Co., Coopers and Lybrand and Peat Marwick where he acquired diverse experience in financial consulting, auditing, computing and taxation in several countries. During this period, he qualified as a chartered accountant; twice wining the best overall prizes of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria’s (ICAN) professional examinations. Thereafter, Aliyu worked with Prime Merchant Bank where he was the effective back up to the Bank’s Venture Capital Departmental Head. Between January 1991 and November 1996, Aliyu worked at African Finance Group Limited as its pioneering General Manager before he left to set up Peregrine Investments Limited. His major interests include creative financial and organizational structuring, analytical problem-solving and computing. He has served on the board of many institutions such as FINBANK Plc, FIN Insurance Company Limited (Chairman), FIN Insurance Brokers Limited (Chairman), EXPERTCARE Health International Limited, Prime Signs Limited e.t.c


Adebayo graduated from University of Lagos with Second Class Upper Credit in Accounting. He started his career with Deloitte Haskins and Sells where he acquired diverse experience in manufacturing, Oil, Merchandising, Shipping, auditing and financial consulting. He obtained professional qualification as chartered accountant in 1985 with Second position overall result prize of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Between 1998 and 2004, he worked with Nicon Insurance Corporation and rose to become Deputy General Manager (Finance &Investment) where he championed innovative operation processes resulting to increased company’s productivity. In 2004 he was a non executive director of Nigeria Electricity Supply Company, Jos as NICON representative on the board. In 2005, he joined Federal Housing Authority as Executive Director (Finance) till 2007.


A 1991 graduate of Botany, he started his career with C.S. Ola & Co. (Chartered Accountants) as Auditor providing accountancy & financial management services to various clients. There he rose to become Principal Auditor. He joined MC&A: Saatchi & Saatchi in 1998 as Financial Controller, where he was responsible for 60% of agency’s net profit through efforts’ generated other income and improved agency liquidity with its bankers. He joined SNEPCo as Treasury Accountant in 2005, there he rose to become Finance Manager Gas Governance in 2012, and  has provided finance & business decision support to Shell Shareholder as Representatives and Directors in Incorporated Joint Venture Governance. He also manages the financial activities of Incorporated Joint Venture (N-Gas Ltd) as shell secondee (in shell reserved position as Finance Manager) on the management team. He coordinate Business Planning, Performance Appraisal & Group Reporting processes for the Midstream Gas Governance team in Sub Sahara Africa.
